If there's anything that distinguishes this as a pretzel, anything to convince me that it's not just ordinary white bread tied into a knot, it escapes me. There's no saltiness, nothing special about the crust, none of the flavor that I've come to associate with pretzels. I don't get the purpose of its existence.
Will I buy it again?
No.
Definitely icky for exactly every reason you listed. Even a lot of spicy mustard after heated up this was a lost cause.
