This appears to be the same basic product as the Pear & Persimmon Tarte, but with different filling. I think it's much better. Both main components of the filling--peaches and cream--are rich and prominent. The peach slices, however, were kind of tough, as if they weren't ripe. This marred an otherwise excellent pastry.
Will I buy it again?
Yes. I liked it, and, besides, I want to see if the seemingly unripe peaches were a one-off flaw.
OH YES, please try it again! We loved it! Even a somber teenager LIKED it (though he just had to get some digs in and bring our overall rating down a bit... ).
