This is now the 10th peppery cheese I've tried from Trader Joe's; see here for the previous nine.
This is among the poorest of the lot. It's so mild that it's almost bland, which is not what one wants or expects from a cheese labeled as "spicy." It wasn't really deliberate, but the cheeses I bought immediately before and after this one were random hot/spicy/pepper cheeses from other grocery stores, so I could try both of them side by side with the TJ's. Both were much better.
It also molded incredibly fast. You can see that it was getting mold even before I unwrapped it, in the bottom right corner of the lower photo above.
Will I buy it again?
