Trader Joe's Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina


Pasta, tomato sauce, and cheese. Entirely serviceable, but also entirely boring.

Maybe it's just me, but the oddly ridged shape of these nuggets made me think of inset pupae:

    I love gnocchi and often buy the plain packages of it at TJs, great chewy texture and potato flavor to it. But in this frozen version the texture suffers, and it really needs more help like some veggies or mushrooms and a more flavorful cheese. Reminded me of kid food as is.
