Good dinner rolls. I'm not sure there's anything particularly French about them, but so what?

Maybe once in a while. But on the rare occasions that I have dinner rolls, I really prefer them somewhat smaller. I think I would usually pick TJ's
Pain Au Lait or
crescent rolls.
I don’t see that you have reviewed the “pull apart aloha rolls” here, those are probably what i would buy as dinner rolls from TJs, but they are slightly sweet just like that hawaiian bread in an orange package- which i happen to love!

I haven't seen those. Bakery goods are produced regionally, and there's a lot of variability across the country on what you can get where.
