Dinner

When Nina was here for dinner Wednesday night, I did one of my occasional all-Trader-Joe's meals.

That's TJ's Chickenless Mandarin Orange Morsels on top of TJ's brown rice fusilli pasta, with a side of TJ's Soycutash. Salad is a blend of two of TJ's bagged salads (butter lettuce/radicchio and Organic Power to the Greens) with TJ's shredded carrots. The pink beverage is the Italian Blood Orange Soda sold but not branded by TJ's. Dessert was to be TJ's vanilla soy ice cream, but we were too full.

Dinner

Yep, it was another nearly 100% Trader Joe's dinner with Nina tonight.

We started with TJ's Organic Hummus and TJ's brand-new Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips (not shown). Main course was fake chicken strips called (weirdly) "The Prepper," made by a local company, "No Evil Foods." I marinated that overnight in TJ's Thai Green Curry Simmer Sauce, then simmered it in the same until the sauce thickened quite a bit. It's served over a bed of TJ's Basmati Rice Medley. (In the photo I admit that it looks disgustingly inedible. But it wasn't! It was actually a nice dark green.)

On the side is another brand-new product, TJ's Grilled Cauliflower. The juice is TJ's Low Calorie Cranberry Juice Cocktail. The salad is a mix of TJ's Organic Baby Spinach and TJ's Champs Elysee, with TJ's Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing.

Dessert was TJ's Rainier Cherries (which I think are only briefly available, and they're excellent, so grab some while you can).

I liked every bit of these things.

Dinner

Nina was over for dinner tonight. I made one of my occasional 100% Trader Joe's meals. (Well, very nearly. That's plain tap water in the glass, not TJ's bottled water.)

We started with (not pictured) TJ's French Comte cheese on TJ's Pita Bites crackers. Then, as you see here, we had tostadas, consisting of TJ's Handmade Flour Tortillas, TJ's Refried Black Beans with Jalapenos, TJ's Soy Chorizo, TJ's sun-dried tomatoes, and TJ's shredded Swiss & Gruyere cheese blend. The soup is a brand-new TJ's product, Organic Roasted Tomatillo Gazpacho Soup, which I garnished with a few kernels of TJ's Giant Peruvian Inca Corn. The salad is a blend of TJ's baby spinach and TJ's butter lettuce and radicchio, with some TJ's pomegranate seeds tossed in, and TJ's balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Finally, there's a small glass of TJ's tangerine juice.

Dessert was TJ's fresh blueberries and TJ's Meyer Lemon Cookie Thins.

If I'm counting right, that's 16 Trader Joe's products in one meal. I'm not sure if that's a personal record for me, but if not, it must be pretty darn close.

Now I have very many reviews to write.

Dinner

I had another all-Trader-Joe's dinner with Nina tonight. That's the last slice of a TJ's Organic Woodfired Sicilian-Style Pizza, TJ's Kale Quinoa Salad, TJ's Big & Chunky Applesauce, and TJ's Watermelon Cucumber Cooler. Though not pictured, we also had TJ's Popcorn With Herbs & Spices as a starter, and TJ's Petits Palmiers for dessert.

Snap verdict from me: Excellent, Icky, Bleah, Fail, Excellent, and OK, respectively. Full reviews in due course.

Dinner

Tonight's dinner with Nina: TJ's Quinoa Cowboy Veggie Burger on TJ's hamburger bun, TJ's vegetable melange, TJ's Latin style black bean soup, and TJ's Triple Ginger Brew. Not shown: appetizer of non-TJ's hummus with TJ's "reduced guilt" white corn tortilla chips and TJ's multigrain tortilla chips, and dessert of TJ's freeze-dried raspberries and TJ's caramel bites.

As always after a meal like this, there is much writing to do!

Dinner

Last night's dinner with Nina: Pizza made with TJ's ready-to-bake pizza dough, TJ's pizza sauce, TJ's vegan mozzarella, and a non-TJ's spicy fake ground beef. Veggies are TJ's "Bean So Green" frozen medley. Salad is TJ's "Roasted Butternut Squash, Red Quinoa, and Wheatberry Salad." Juice is TJ's "Omega-3 Carrot Orange Juice." Not shown: appetizer of a non-TJ's hummus with TJ's "Quinoa and Black Beans Infused Tortilla Chips," and dessert of TJ's dark chocolate with coconut caramel bar.

I should buy stock in this company...

Nina was here for dinner tonight. I didn't go quite so far as to ensure that every single morsel of food served was Trader Joe's, but I did have a lot of new items on hand to try out, so probably 90% of our meal was TJ's. In this picture we've got a TJ's Marsala Burger (covered in Kraft cheese, though, so you can't see it) sitting on a toasted TJ's Whole Wheat Hamburger Bun, TJ's Vegetable Fried Rice, TJ's Vegetable Root Chips, TJ's Cold Pressed Juice Yellow, and TJ's Organics Herb Salad Mix (with some pickled beets from a local company, Green River Picklers), topped with TJ's Raspberry Vinaigrette Salad Dressing (although I think I had not yet added it when I snapped this picture).

So many reviews to write now!
