This is now the third product from Trader Joe's that is pure pomegranate juice, with nothing else added. See here and here for the others. My sense memory isn't keen enough to discern any difference between then when the sampling has been spread across time. They're all superb--exactly what one would want from pomegranate juice. Maybe I'll have to buy a bottle of all three at once and try them simultaneously to discover any differences between them.
Will I buy it again?
I probably will once, just to make a comparison. But this one is much more expensive per ounce than the others, so other than that it's not likely to be a repeater.
This juice is AMAZING!!! It is the only pomegranate juice available that is NOT from concentrate and it tastes EXACTLY like a fresh cut pomegranate!! INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was very popular in San Antonio, Texas yet, after being introduced only for the holidays as a seasonal product, they discontinued it; for a month and a half, it was not available. Then it was brought back because customers loved it and many people had asked for it ... but it was brought back for only approximately 3 weeks or so ... only to be quickly discontinued because of "low sales". Maybe the weeks it was not available were accidentally factored into the sales numbers ..? This was an excellent, extremely popular product and everyone loved it. Now it's gone ...
ReplyDeleteI think this was too popular but probably to expensive for trader Joe's. I would pay $10 for this. Whenever they had it I would just empty their shells and freeze this guy. This is not juice it's medicine
