Wow. $1.99 for two ounces of "juice"--which is actually mostly coconut water. Plus two pieces of plastic added to the landfill, at a time when Trader Joe's says it's committed to reducing the amount of plastic packaging it uses.
It's hard to describe this accurately, because there's so little of it that it was hard to analyze before it was gone. But my overwhelming impression was of the turmeric and black pepper, not the coconut water or lemon juice.
Will I buy it again?
Absolutely not. This strikes me as a very un-TJ's-like product: Expensive, pointless, and wasteful.
I bought a bunch of the Mighty Turmeric and the No Joke Ginger juice shots. There are great! I would drink them daily. Perhaps a larger bottle or paper containers might address said concerns. I will buy them again please keep them in stock.
ReplyDeleteThese are actually amazing if you are supplementing turmeric for health reasons. Really grateful they stock these now because elsewhere they are extremely expensive.
ReplyDeleteThey actually have a 5cent deposit so not exactly going in a landfill. I think they are are absolutely wonderful for some health concerns I have, the liquid is far superior to pill form.
ReplyDeleteYou have to drink these every day to notice the benefits but when you do, you’ll REALLY notice how amazing they are. I have arthritis and my inflammation and joint pain ha been significantly reduced. My digestive system is back on track and my skin looks amazing. These are only “pointless” if you don’t drink them regularly
