It's not called a cheddar, but it tastes pretty cheddary--like one of the longest-aged cheddars, in fact, with that characteristic "bite" that develops with time. Very flavorful.
I liked it just fine, but it doesn't rise into my list of favorites.
Will I buy it again?
No.
Beg to differ as this is perhaps my favorite domestic cheese. Complex flavors approaching sharp but with no bitter edge.
